History of Ansley Park
Developed in 1904 by rail and real estate magnate Edwin P. Ansley, Ansley Park was seen as an alternative to the, then popular, Inman Park. It was the first Atlanta suburban neighborhood to be designed with automobiles in mind, featuring distinctive differences in road structure.
Ansley Park has a total population of roughly 23 000 people, according to the 2017 American Community Survey. The average age of the residents is 34, with the total number of households around 13 000.
Ansley Park belongs to Atlanta Public Schools district.
